Fred's Swim Academy: Swimming Classes for Babies, Toddlers, and Older Children

It's important that children learn to have fun, but also play it safe around water. That's the focus of the fun-filled exercises in our swimming classes. Depending upon your children's age and developmental level, they'll receive the appropriate kind of instruction, balanced with playtime.

Special Exercises Depending upon Age
In familiarizing babies and toddlers with the water, we concentrate on developing their motor skills, the aspect of play, and the unique mode of movement characteristic of children in this age group. The children are accompanied into the water by a person whom they trust and can rely on.
In the case of children 4 or 5 years old and older, actual swimming is taught. Such small children find it challenging to master the complex swimming motions (involving a coordination of arms, legs, and breathing techniques.)
